I'm cycling throughout August for Prostate Cancer UK. One in eight men will get prostate cancer in their lifetime, and it's the UKs third biggest cancer killer. But it doesn't have to be this way. I'm raising money to help fund lifesaving research for men and their families affected by the disease.
Having an annual checkup means that I am aware that I don't have a major problem, but one of my dear friends starts a treatment plan next week. My son has also had early warning signs.
We need to raise awareness and get men talking about this subject and start to save lives.
